ISCC PLUS and the Climate Pledge Friendly Programme
The collaboration between ISCC PLUS and the Climate Pledge Friendly Programme on Amazon promotes supply chain transparency and credibility toward end consumers.
About the programme
The Climate Pledge Friendly Programme lets consumers digitally discover and shop for third-party certified finished goods on Amazon, including many certified under ISCC PLUS. Each finished good that is a part of the programme will appear with an environmental attribute – a green leaf icon. As online retail continues to gain popularity, the badge allows for ISCC PLUS-certified finished goods to stand out in the e-commerce space. Currently, the programme is available in the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Belgium, Poland, Sweden, and Japan.
Eligibility criteria
To join the Climate Pledge Friendly Programme on Amazon with ISCC PLUS, the following requirements must be fulfilled.
Valid ISCC Certificate or Licence
All companies and brands applying must hold a valid ISCC certificate or licence.
Product, opposed to packaging
All products submitted to the CPF programme must be linked to ISCC-certified material. Packaging material is not eligible.
Minimum share of 50% certified material
Each ISCC-certified product submitted to the programme must be linked to at least 50% ISCC-certified material* at the entire product level, by weight.
*Eligible feedstocks include bio, bio-circular, and circular.
Our application process
Do you fulfil the eligibility criteria and want to join the Climate Pledge Friendly Programme on Amazon? To enhance the transparency and robustness of the scheme, we established an application process to facilitate the badging of finished goods for the Climate Pledge Friendly Programme on Amazon.
01. Review your eligibility
Review our CPF one-pager to determine whether your company is eligible to join. All products joining the CPF programme under ISCC must be linked to at least 50% ISCC-certified material.*
*Eligible feedstocks include bio, bio-circular, and circular.
02. Submit pre-check application form
Start your application process through our Pre-Check Application form.
During this step, ISCC will verify that all applying companies and brands are covered by a valid ISCC certificate or licence and that all eligibility requirements are met.
03. Provide ISCC-certified product-related information
Once your application has been deemed eligible, you will be required to complete a submission template that provides further information on your ISCC-certified products and brands, along with CPF-related information. ISCC will share this template with you.
Please note that entities undergoing their initial certification period will be requested to submit proof of their ISCC-certified material flows via ISCC Sustainability Declarations (SDs).
04. Submission to CPF programme
After ISCC approval, your products will be submitted to Amazon for badging on the CPF programme.
Please note that all products deemed ineligible or expired will be removed from the programme under ISCC PLUS.
