Manage your data efficiently in the ISCC HUB

Using the ISCC HUB is mandatory for System Users and Certification Bodies. The ISCC HUB is an online platform for managing registration- and certification-related data of System Users (referred to as “Economic Operators” in European Union terminology). System Users and their Certification Bodies (CBs) have direct access to the ISCC HUB, where they can manage and update System User data.

The ISCC HUB is designed to reduce input errors and incomplete data while improving overall data accuracy, thereby minimising the need for subsequent clarification between involved parties.

The system sends automatic notifications to relevant stakeholders whenever data is updated or changed, either to provide information or to request confirmation. In addition, the ISCC HUB provides a task list that indicates open process steps to be completed, e.g., next steps for Applicants and CBs during the registration process.

New ISCC HUB Login – Action Required Effective 21.04.2026

Updates

The following is an overview of the latest changes and updates implemented in the ISCC HUB. These developments are listed based on the date of implementation and their relevance to System Users and Certification Bodies (CBs).

1 June 2026

Changes to the registration and certificate forms:

Addition of new RFNBO scope

A new scope titled "Installation consuming RFNBOs" has been added to the registration and certificate forms for ISCC EU. On the certificate form, when the input scope indicates "Installation consuming RFNBOs", the output material, output brackets, and output scope fields will be auto-populated with " - ", the GHG column will be auto-populated "N/A", and the raw material category will be auto-populated to option "C".

New raw material category for ISCC EU certificates

In the certificate form, the column previously titled "Criteria of raw material certification" has been renamed to "Raw material category". A new option "C" will be added, making this a single-choice dropdown field with options A, B, and C. The tooltip will be updated to include: "C: For RFNBOs/RCFS, the raw material complies with the relevant sustainability criteria according to Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/1184."

New Voluntary Add-On: 202-10: Regenerative Agriculture

A new voluntary add-on, "202-10: Regenerative Agriculture", has been introduced in both the registration and certificate forms. This add-on will be available for ISCC EU, ISCC PLUS, ISCC Japan FIT, and/or ISCC Canada CFR certification systems.

Updated certificate templates

ISCC EU template:

A revised ISCC EU certificate template has been published on the client section for CBs of the ISCC website, as well as on the ISCC HUB. The template presents the following changes:
  • Category C is added to the column "Criteria of raw material certification” to reflect RFNBO and RCF feedstocks;
  • Footnote 4 is added to the add-on column for clarification purposes;
  • Add-on 202-10 “Regenerative Agriculture” is added
The changes are also reflected in the latest Guidance for the use of the ISCC EU template, available in the ISCC documents section.

ISCC PLUS and ISCC Canada CFR template:

A revised ISCC PLUS and ISCC Canada CFR certificate template has been published on the client section for CBs of the ISCC website, as well as on the ISCC HUB. The template presents the following changes:
  • Add-on 202-10 “Regenerative Agriculture” is added

Update to ISCC Japan FIT Annex to the certificate: Sustainable/Certified materials handled and certificate template

For ISCC Japan Fit certificates, a new column for “Add-Ons (voluntary)” will be visible in the Annex to the certificate: Sustainable/Certified materials handled on the ISCC HUB. The drop-down list will include the new voluntary add-on “202-10: Regenerative Agriculture” when it is selected in the applicable registration.

Consequently, a revised ISCC Japan FIT certificate template has been published on the client section for CBs of the ISCC website, as well as on the ISCC HUB. The template presents the following changes:

  • Add-on 202-10 “Regenerative Agriculture” is added

Automatic deletion of inactive registration drafts

Registration drafts that remain inactive for 3 months after the last change will be automatically deleted from the HUB. When saving a registration draft, users are informed of this updated process via a pop-up. Additionally, an email notification will be sent to the creator of a registration 14 days before the scheduled deletion, providing instructions on how to retain the draft by making changes or submitting the registration application. All existing registration drafts exceeding the 3-month inactivity threshold will receive the same email notification with a 14-day grace period starting from 29 June 2026.

Updated wording of waste and residue questions

The wording of the waste and residue questions in the registration form under "Certificate Scope" have been revised across all applicable ISCC systems. The questions read: "Does your certification scope cover the trading, handling, processing or storing of waste/residue raw materials?" and "Does your certification scope cover the trading, handling, processing or storing of waste / residue-based products?" respectively. When ISCC CORSIA or ISCC CORSIA PLUS is selected, an additional sentence will be displayed: "This includes by-products under ISCC CORSIA and/or ISCC CORSIA PLUS (e.g. Palm Fatty Acid Distillate)." Consequently, the same wording updates will be applied to the certificate form under "Surveillance".

Update to "Additional mass balance verification done by" field

The visibility and applicability of the "Additional mass balance verification done by" field in the "Supplementary Information" section of the certificate form have been updated. It will be mandatory only for ISCC EU certificates across all scopes except Trader.

New tooltip for processing unit question

A tooltip has been added next to the question "Is the processing unit the producer of the final biofuel/bioliquid/biomass fuel (i.e. last interface, no further processing required)" in the registration form. The tooltip will read: "Information must be kept up to date to ensure, e.g. successful processing of EU reporting information."

Addition of gaseous fuel and updated measuring units

The "Intermediate Materials & Products" form has been enhanced to support gaseous fuels. The existing "Fuel according to UDB" field has been updated from a "Yes/No" selection to a single-choice dropdown with options: "Liquid fuel", "Gaseous fuel", or "N/A". Measuring units in the "Site Specific Information" table has been adjusted based on the fuel type: liquid fuels will display "tonnes", "cubic meters at 15° C", and "litres at 15° C"; gaseous fuels will display "MWh" or "metric tonnes at 15° C"; and materials marked as "N/A" will display "tonnes", "litres", or "gallons".

Display of Operational Site Name in search repositories

A new column titled "Operational Site Name" has been added across all Operational Unit Registry search repositories and Certificate search repositories. The data will be sourced from the "Operational Site Name" field in the registration form. The "Basic Search" and "Advanced Search" tabs have also been updated to include this field. Additionally, on the certificate form, the field previously titled "Operational Unit Name" under "Operational Unit Data" has been renamed to "Company Name", and the corresponding search repositories reflect this change.

Standardisation of country names

Country names across the HUB have been standardised in accordance with the ISO standard. All existing registrations, regardless of status, will be automatically updated with the standardised country names. Old country names will no longer be available for selection in new registrations. When a user saves a form containing a country name that does not match the approved name, a notification will appear informing the user that the country name has been updated. The standardisation will apply across all areas of the HUB, including registrations, certificates, and the CB section.

Automatic activation of UDB for ISCC EU certificates

The "Use of UDB" field will automatically be set to "Yes" for all cases where ISCC EU is selected as the certification system, independently or alongside other certification systems. For existing registrations with valid ISCC EU certificates, the onboarding to UDB will be triggered automatically. Contact Person 1 will remain the default UDB Lead User as per existing functionality.

Changes to the CB section:

Accreditation Details now accessible to CB Admins

A new section titled "Certification Body Accreditation Details" has been added to the "Certification Body Information" tab in the CB section. This section will include fields for the CB Accreditation Body Name, CB Accreditation Certificate (PDF upload), Link to CB Accreditation Certificate, Certificate Issuance Date, and Certificate Expiry Date. For existing CBs, this information will be pre-filled at the time of deployment.

Changes to access to the ISCC HUB:

Keycloak implementation

The HUB authentication system has been updated with the implementation of Keycloak. This includes the configuration and testing of the registration and group assignment process for HUB users, ensuring a secure and streamlined login experience. This means that the identity of each user is verified to ensure that only valid email addresses are used in the HUB, and that each email address is associated with only one individual (first and last name).

Changes for System Users and Certification Bodies:

Changes to Registration Application Process

Picture 1.jpg
  1. Up to now, during the registration process, CBs themselves had to adjust details where applicable, and request approval from the Applicants before a registration was passed to ISCC for approval. To provide more flexibility for Applicants to edit their data, CBs can now return the registration to them in edit mode together with comments which will be visible in the “Process History” section.

  2. The Delete Site option for registrations during the registration approval process has been renamed to Cancel Registration, requiring the Applicant to provide a cancellation reason and disabling any open tasks for this registration. Cancellations will be documented in the “Process History” section of the registration form. Consequently, the Document Status will appear as Registration Cancelled by Applicant

Improved Registration Layout

The registration layout has been enhanced as follows for a more intuitive user experience:

  • The Change Certification Body button is now located in the “Certification Body” section.

  • The Update Billing Information is now located in the “Billing Information” section and has been renamed to Edit Billing Information.

  • For ISCC EU registrations, a new section “Information Regarding Connected Services” has been introduced.

    • Information related to National Trade Register ID, UDB, TYC Connect, and the Lead User for UDB is displayed here.

    • A new Edit Connected Services Information button appears in this section. Edits in this new section will be applied immediately without requiring CB approval. Consequently, the Update NTR ID button has been removed from the registration form.

  • The logic for the “Certification Scope” section has been enhanced as follows:

    • The question “Is the processing unit the producer of the final biofuel/bioliquid/biomass fuel (i.e., last interface, no further processing required)?” appears only for ISCC EU registrations.

    • When the question above is answered with a Yes, the question “Shall the final biofuel be supplied into the German Market? appears.

    • The question “Are you trading final biofuels, bioliquids and biomass fuels in Germany?” appears only for ISCC EU registrations with the scope of Trader.

    • Kind reminder that this information is indicative for the use of Nabisy.

Changes to Handling of Certificates

  • Enhanced Actions on Suspended Certificates

Up to now, upon a certificate becoming suspended, respective actions for that certificate such as its modification were restricted. With this deployment, the CB is able to execute all certificate tasks, including suspension extensions, modifying details, requesting site information from System Users, changing status. Similarly, System Users are able to initiate site information and edit sourcing contact information for suspended certificates. This enables CBs and System Users to take respective action on the certificate that may be required to lift the suspension.

  • New auto-populated Date of Submission Field in Certificate Details:

A date of submission field has been added to certificate details section on the certificate form under the “General Data” section. This field auto-populates upon certificate submission and is non-editable.

Display of Email Addresses in Process History

The email address for listed System Users, CBs and ISCC will be hidden across all “Process History” sections on the HUB. This change affects only the display to redirect requests via the standard contact processes; existing functionalities remain unchanged.”

Changes for System Users and Certification Bodies

Addition of Billing Information:

  • A new “Billing Information” section has been added to the registration form on the ISCC HUB. This information is mandatory and must be kept up to date. For approved registrations, an “Update Billing Information” button appears, allowing System Users to make edits to this section without further CB approval. Changes are reflected in this section immediately upon saving. Previously provided billing information has been uploaded to this section. System Users are expected to check and where applicable, update this billing information in a timely manner to prevent complications during the next invoicing process.
  • Similarly, the “Certification Body” profile has been redesigned to incorporate two distinct tabs. The “Certification Body Information” tab encompasses all previously available information. The “Billing Information” tab will be accessible exclusively to Certification Body Administrators, presenting billing-related address and contact person information. For CB Administrators, an “Edit Billing Information” button has been provided to enable modifications within this section. ISCC has uploaded the previously provided billing information for each CB. All CBs are expected to review and where applicable, update their billing information in a timely manner to prevent any complications during the next invoicing process.

Certification scope additions:

  • A new scope titled Biomarine Fuel Operator has been added to the “ISCC EU” certification system.
  • The current scope Forest Sourcing Area has been added to ISCC EU, ISCC CORSIA, ISCC CORSIA PLUS, and ISCC Japan FIT.
  • The scopes eligible for certification under ISCC CORISA PLUS have been updated. If the scopes First Gathering Point, Central Office (Farms), Farms/Plantations, or Forest Sourcing Area are selected under ISCC CORSIA PLUS, additional scopes including Point of Origin, Collecting Point, Trader, Warehouse, Logistics Centre, Trader with Storage, Central Office (Group of Point of Origin), Central Office of Independent Smallholders, and Processing Unit are selectable.t
